Refund policy

As Irregular Wars Wargaming (irregularwars.com) exclusively sells digital products, we operate a strict no-refund and no-returns policy in accordance with UK consumer protection laws. By completing a purchase on our website, you agree to this policy.

Digital Content and Consumer Rights

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers generally have the right to cancel online purchases within 14 days — the "cooling-off" period. However, this right does not apply to digital content once downloading or streaming has begun, provided that:

  1. The consumer has given their express consent to begin the download/stream during the cancellation period; and

  2. The consumer has acknowledged that, by giving this consent, they lose the right to cancel.

By purchasing from our store and accessing any digital download, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your right to cancel is waived once the download begins.

This exemption is supported by:

 

Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 – Regulation 37(1)(b)
and
Regulation 36(1)(a): “the right to cancel is lost if the performance of the contract has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that they will lose that right.”

 

No Refund Policy

All sales are final. Due to the nature of digital products:

  • No refunds will be given for any reason, including accidental purchases, failure to download, or lack of usage.

  • No returns or exchanges will be accepted once the product has been accessed, downloaded, or delivered.

We encourage all customers to carefully review product descriptions, compatibility requirements, and previews (if available) before purchase.

Faulty Digital Products

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality

  • Fit for a particular purpose

  • As described

If a digital product you purchased is faulty, unusable, or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or partial/full refund depending on the circumstances. Please contact us at irregularwars@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase, including:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Proof (e.g. screenshots or error messages) if applicable

We will assess the issue and respond in a timely manner in line with our legal obligations.

Fraudulent or Abusive Claims

To protect against fraud, we reserve the right to refuse refund requests that:

  • Show signs of misuse or abuse of our system

  • Are submitted without sufficient supporting evidence

  • Attempt to claim refunds after the product has been clearly accessed or downloaded
